THE APPLICATION
The Fine art Academy is currently accepting applications for Fall 2022.

PORTFOLIO
Applicants need to submit 8-10 original works of artwork, design, or creative writing. Your portfolio can contain any combination of these media. Applicants should submit original work that demonstrates your personal ideas and interests forth with technical abilities. Additionally, images of journal or sketchbook pages are encouraged.
There are several ways you can submit your portfolio:
- Slideroom: Upload your portfolio online at Slideroom
- In-person: You can schedule an engagement here.
- National Portfolio Twenty-four hour period: Bring together us for a National Portfolio Day event.
- Virtual: Schedule a virtual meeting to receive feedback from ane of our counselors here.
TRANSCRIPTS
Students must take a 2.0 or higher GPA to exist considered for comprisal.
While the Art Academy of Cincinnati accepts cocky-reported grades for high school, official high school transcript with graduation date and final GPA will need to be submitted by August one for fall applicants and January 1 for bound applicants. Whatever large discrepancy in GPA reporting could affect scholarship amounts.
If you take taken whatsoever higher courses or have Advance Placement (AP) credit, official transcripts and scores will need to be submitted prior to transferring whatever credits, or an acceptance offer tin can't be fabricated.

Acquaintance OF Science IN GRAPHIC Pattern
The Fine art Academy's undergraduate Acquaintance of Scientific discipline in Graphic blueprint is a ii-twelvemonth programme that provides a combination of Liberal Arts and Studio courses in the exercise of graphic design.
Acceptance into the program involves the same requirements as the BFA: 1. Application 2. Portfolio 3. Transcripts.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
Students wishing to transfer to the Fine art University from some other college or university should submit all items noted above:
- Application
- Portfolio
- Transcripts
Additionally, all official higher or academy transcripts, to the Admissions Office.
Official transcripts are evaluated by AAC Department Chairs and transfer credits recorded in your AAC credit audit. Transfer students are eligible for entrance scholarship awards based on portfolio merit.
The Art University of Cincinnati participates in joint agreements with the colleges listed below. Please contact the Admissions Function or the Registrar for further details.

- Sinclair Community College - Dayton, OH
- Academy of New Mexico - Taos, NM
READMISSION
If you were previously enrolled at the Fine art Academy and have taken a get out of absenteeism longer than 1 year, you lot will need to reapply for admission. Click the button beneath to apply.
